The HP StorageWorks MSL6026, part of the MSL6000 Tape Library family, is a 5U scalable and secure centralized back up system. The MSL6026 can run up to two SDLT600 tape drives with a maximum capacity (compressed 2:1) of 15.6 TB and a maximum data transfer rate of 518 GB/hr. The MSL6026 has Ultra160 SCSI LVD/SE 2Gb Fibre Channel Interface. Some noteworthy features in the HP MSL6000 family include: 1. Multi-unit Scalability: Up to eight 5U StorageWorks MSL6000 Tape Libraries can be linked into one library; 2. Flexibility: The MSL6000 can be scaled with the MSL5000 tape library family; 3. Compatibility: The MSL6026 is supported on a wide array of HP servers and is compatible with workstations, servers, operating systems and back up applications other than HP.
