The HP StorageWorks MSL6030, part of the MSL6000 Tape Library family, is a 5U scalable and secure centralized back up system.
The MSL6030 can run up to two LTO-4 Ultrium 1840 or LTO-3 Ultrium 960 tape drives.
The maximum capacity (compressed 2:1) for a MSL6030 running two LTO-4 Ultrium 1840 tape drives is 48TB and the maximum data transfer rate is 1.7TB/hr.
The maximum capacity (compressed 2:1) for a MSL6030 running two LTO-3 Ultrium 960 tape drives is 24TB and the maximum data transfer rate is 1.15TB/hr.
The MSL6030 has Ultra320 SCSI LVD/SE 4Gb Fibre Channel Interface.
