The HP StorageWorks MSL6060, part of the MSL6000 Tape Library family, is a 10U scalable and secure centralized back up system. The MSL6060 can run up to four LTO-4 Ultrium 1840 or LTO-3 Ultrium 960 tape drives. The maximum capacity (compressed 2:1) for a MSL6060 running four LTO-4 Ultrium 1840 tape drives is 96TB and the maximum data transfer rate is 3.4 TB/hr. The maximum capacity (compressed 2:1) for a MSL6060 running four LTO-3 Ultrium 960 tape drives is 48TB and the maximum data transfer rate is 2.2 TB/hr. The MSL6060 has Ultra320 SCSI LVD/SE 4Gb Fibre Channel Interface. Some noteworthy features in the HP MSL6000 family include: 1. Multi-unit Scalability: Up to four 10U StorageWorks MSL6000 Tape Libraries can be linked into one library; 2. Flexibility: The MSL6000 can be scaled with the MSL5000 tape library family; 3.
