The IBM system p5 550 (9113-550) is available in both rack-mount and deskside variants. The system can be configured in one-way, two-way, or four-way configurations using the two processor slots. Available p5 processors for this power 5 system are one-way 1.5GHz (with no L3 cache) and 2-way 1.5GHz and 1.65GHz models (with 36MB L3 cache). The IBM 9113-550 can hold from 512MB to 64GB of memory. The p5 Model 550 can hold up to 1174GB of internal disk using eight hot-swap drive bays; the system comes standard with four hot-swap drive bays, and four more are optional. The 9113-550 system can also be configured with up to five hot-swap PCI-X slots. The p5 550 also features integrated dual 10/100/1000 Ethernet, integrated dual port Ultra 320 SCSI controller, and optional RAID adapter.
