How can I get enough processing power with used equipment?
One common misconception is that used equipment
means systems and computer servers are very old. Typically, almost
any model which has been out on the market for at least six months
may be available used. Corporate mergers, demonstration models,
and short term rentals may be just a few of the reasons that equipment
may be available used. Also, many servers may be upgraded to current
models. This creates a "used" system that is actually the most
current model at a reduced price.

Will a refurbished computer be as reliable as a new one?
Think about your existing computer systems. Most of the time, companies change systems because they need to upsize, downsize, change operating systems, or adjust
to changing corporate needs. Chances are that any computer your company has replaced or changed didnt wear out, it just didnt meet corporate objectives for the future.

How much can I save with refurbished equipment?
Its difficult to assign one fixed percentage. It may be 20% or it may be 80%. It depends on market value and availability of the particular model that interests
you. As you would expect, if a model is available after only being available new for six months, it will be more economical than a new one, but it will still hold most of its value.

What is the difference between NEW and UNUSED equipment?
New equipment comes in the manufacturer's sealed
box and includes the manufacturer's warranty and all appropriate
licenses. Unused equipment has not been used, may or may not come
in the manufacturer's sealed box and includes a TriniComp warranty.
Depending on the manufacturer, the equipment may or may not include
licenses.

I lease all my computers, so how will refurbished computers benefit me?
Many companies lease computers to reduce cash flow and depreciation
expense. So go one better lease refurbished computers. Because
the actual cost of providing refurbished computers is less than
providing new, your payments will be lower when you lease refurbished
computers.

The manufacturer provides maintenance on all our computers. How will we get our refurbished computers maintained?
All refurbished computer parts and equipment
provided by TriniComp Systems are delivered ready for inspection/support
by the manufacturer. manufacturer certification, and/or any specific
manufacturer service levels are at customer expense unless otherwise
noted. If you like, we'll even arrange to have the manufacturer
install your system at their going installation rate.

I need to change platforms. How can I trade in equipment?
TriniComp Systems will accept the equipment of any manufacturer in trade toward equipment of any other manufacturer. In fact, well even accept one type of product,
such as a storage array, in trade for another, such as a server.

We have excess computer equipment available due to a merger or other change in operations. We would like to get value for it,
but we dont need to trade it in on anything. What can we do?
TriniComp will buy your excess equipment even when you dont wish to purchase anything from us. We have customers that are in need of equipment, so we are always
interested in making an offer on excess equipment.

The manufacturer is offering us trade in credit for our equipment. Isnt that the highest value we can get?
Not necessarily. Manufacturers offer trade in value to help encourage the sales of new equipment. While some offers may be attractive, all may not be. Its best
to check with your TriniComp Systems Account Executive before making a decision. We may offer you considerably more than the manufacturer. Also, well buy out more than one server
or storage system from you, even if youre only planning to purchase one new machine. Many manufacturer trade-in plans have limitations on these types of transactions.
